Biography

Mayura Deshmukh, is a Cardio-Respiratory Physiotherapist, PhD Scholar and working as an Associate Professor in Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, India. She is a certified Diabetic Educator, and has completed various courses approved by international universities. She has her special interest in Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Diabetic Rehabilitation, Breathing Dysfunction and Rehabilitation, Geriatric Health and Fitness etc. She is one of the Author of first book by Indian Association of Physiotherapists on, "Guidelines for Geriatric Health and Fitness." She has number of publications in indexed national international journals with citations on her credits including a patent, three copyrights, book publications etc. She has presented her work in various National, International Conferences with award winning presentations. She is also an active office bearer of Indian Association of Physiotherapist Women Cell working in Networking Committee at Maharashtra state.
