Yehuda Shoenfeld is a renowned expert in autoimmune and rheumatic diseases, serving as the founder and head of the Zabludowicz Center for Autoimmune Diseases at Sheba Medical Center in Israel. He has authored over 2,230 research papers, contributing significantly to journals like New England Journal of Medicine, Nature, and Lancet, with over 150,000 citations. Professor Shoenfeld has also edited 55 books, including key texts like Autoantibodies and Infections and Autoimmunity. A prominent academic, he holds honorary memberships and awards from various international organizations, including the EULAR Prize and the ACR Master Award. He was elected to the Israeli Academy of Sciences in 2019 and has led multiple institutions, including Ariel University. Currently, he is a professor of medicine and head of the research office at Reichman University.
